Don't wear raw denim with shoes you don't want indigo on. Always cuff your jeans so that the denim never touches the shoes. Wear socks (preferably white tennis socks) and stuff the jeans inside the socks. Keep hands in pockets at all times and pull up in the legs so the denim doesn't touch the shoes.The other thing with raw denim jackets is that you will find that you won't wear them as much as you think. TL:DR Super slubby fabric, fast fader, and has a unique crosshatch-like pattern in the fading. Measure them. Un-Sanforized Jeans (i.e. Levi 501STF, it will say on the description if they are) require pre-soaking to shrink. You would need to size up to account for the pre-soak shrinkage. After the first true wash both types of denim will shrink minimally in the waist. They should stretch back out to the pre-wash size after a couple of wears.. Reddit raw denim

I always leave the bottom button unbuttoned though.All they had was a 30x34 but I think a 31 or 32 would fit me a lot better. More boxy silhouettes and layering, or even clean and simple outfits, can draw from raw denim looks. Textures and patterns can also elevate an otherwise plain fit. The material is very dark blue, and for lack of a better word, a bit "poofy" and stretchy, being pile lined. It's thick and soft, not like raw denim, but more like a sweatshirt-like material.
